tribeca loft
The Tribeca Loft is a spacious apartment located in a historic building in downtown Manhattan. The clients sought to create a space that was comfortable, yet also reflected the unique character of their lifestyle. Fundamentally, the goal of the project was to create a relaxed, contemporary environment using natural materials.
To begin, we stripped the space down to its bare essentials. This effort gave the space a raw, architectural feel, which was the perfect backdrop for the client’s contemporary vision. We then introduced our palette consisting of wood, stone, and natural fibers. The living room featured a large sectional sofa, set against the backdrop of the Tribeca skyline. Additionally, our incorporation of plants provided warm and natural touches to the space.
The kitchen was designed to be functional, with sleek cabinetry made of wood, paired with modern stone countertops. We included additional natural elements, such as a large wooden cutting board, to ensure a sense of warmth to the space.
The bedroom was designed as a serene and calming retreat, with a neutral color palette of white and beige. The design is anchored by a custom designed wooden wall, which offers a sense of warmth and coziness.
The end result achieves the sought after relaxed-contemporary atmosphere, while at the same time considering the clients’ individual style.
